Day 1 : Welcome to the "Marvelous City"
Reception at International Airport and Transfer to Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Rio de Janeiro
Full Day Corcovado & Sugar Loaf Tour including typical BBQ lunch. After being picked-up at hotel, passing by Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, and proceeding as far as Cosme Velho Station to board a cog-train for the ride through Tijuca Forest up Corcovado Mountain. The train ride takes 30 minutes and is a wonderful opportunity for a closer look to the forest lush tropical vegetation and to enjoy scenic landscapes of the beaches and city. Disembarking at the top of Corcovado and then proceeding up the steps that lead to the top lookout where the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer stands. After appreciating the breathtaking view unfolding below, passengers will descent by train and head to a barbecue restaurant for lunch. After lunch you will proceed along Rios beaches as far as Urca District to board a cable car for a two-staged ascent up Sugar Loaf Mountain. Then coming down and proceeding along Guanabara Bay and Flamengo Park as far as downtown. Visiting downtown area, you will be passing by the financial and business center and by other attractions such as the City Palace, Candelaria Church, Saint Sebastian Cathedral, Lapa Arches, Municipal Theatre, National Library, Fine Arts Museum, and by the Sambadrome and then returning to the hotel. Beverages are not included during the meal.
Note: On Private basis, the Sugar Loaf can be done in the end of the tour for sunset observation. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Rio de Janeiro
Full Day Tropical Islands including lunch on island. This trip has been acclaimed as one of the most charming attractions in the entire Rio area. Drive by 1 1/2 hour through numerous fields, banana plantations and villages along the way to the small fishing village of Itacurussa. Here nature has excelled itself and dotted the bay with over 300 islands. Made of sheer rock and covered with thick, lush Vegetation. They appear to be floating jungles in the emerald green waters. Embark on a "Saveiro" (schooner from the northeast of Brazil) for a leisure cruise in the calm waters of the Sepetiba bay. Stop for swim on a desert island, and then continue to a private island to enjoy a tantalizing buffet luncheon served in a tranquil and rustic atmosphere. After the meal, guests will be free to explore the island's charm by strolling along the beach, swimming or just walking and getting a sun tan. The return cruise to Itacurussa will allow guests to appreciate the view of the bay, mountains and sunset. Arrival at hotel around 06:00PM. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Transfer to Campo Grande
On scheduled time transfer to the airport for the flight to Campo Grande. Arrival in Campo Grande. Transfer to hotel passing through Transpantaneira Road. Hotel offers its visitors a fantastic experience with nature. With many tours, there is a unique opportunity to discover the fauna, flora, and culture of the Pantanal. The weather determines which tours will happen in each season. Welcome drinks will be served. Tours presentation. Accommodation and overnight.
Day 5: South Pantanal
Tour in the morning: Photographic Safari. Tour in the afternoon Canadian canoe Tour. Evening: Slideshow. Overnight at the Inn.
Day 6: South Pantanal
Tour in the Morning: Hiking Tour. Tour in the afternoon: Visit to enviromental projects housed at Caiman lodge. Overnight at the pousada Inn.
Day 7: Bonito
Tour Boca da Onça Ecotour (Bodoquena Region) visiting 12 waterfalls. Departure for Boca da Onça, a region where we find crystalline waterfalls, trails of totally preserved forest and the scenic Salobra River, natural swimming pools and the highest waterfall of the State: The Boca da Onça Waterfall, 156 meters high, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Brazil. Followed by transfer to Bonito (1 hour/50km). Arrival and accommodation at hotel. Dinner and overnight in the Inn.
Day 8: Bonito
Morning: Floating in Bonito's crystal waters, there is a great variety of fish and opportunity to dive. Dinner and overnight at the Inn.
Day 9: Tour / Transfer to Campo Grande
Visit to Grotto Blue Lake, the most beautiful grotto of the region. The beauty of the place can already be noticed at the entrance, where pointed stones assume interesting shapes. the descent to the core of the cave is approximately 100 meters and ends at the magnificent turquoise blue lake. For purpose of Preservation, no swing is allowed, despite the temptation. Transfer from Bonito to Campo Grande Airport. (4 hours/ 320km).
