Visa To Brazil
U.S. citizens traveling to Brazil are required to obtain a visa prior to entering Brazil. This requirement is in reciprocity to the U.S. government demand that all Brazilian citizens hold a visa in order to enter the United States. Citizens of countries that do not demand visas from Brazilian nationals usually do not need visas to enter Brazil.
Steps to obtain a Brazilian Visa.
1 - Find out what Brazilian Consulate, serves your area.
2 - Go to
www.brazilsf.org
and click on the American Flag.
3 - Click on Visa, top left corner.
4 - Choose the type of visa, that best serves your need.
5 - Read the requirements and it will tell you the link to fill out the online application.
6 - If you get a WARNING message after clicking on the link don't worry it's a trusted website choose to proceed.
7 - Click on Visa Request.
8 - Read the Instructions and hit the next button on the bottom of the page.
9 - Fill out all the necessary information.
10 - At the end choose to submit your application.
11 - Print out the confirmation page

12 - If you will obtain the visa on your own, you must schedule an appointment via their website

Important Documents to bring with you:
Valid Passport
1 Passport Picture
Printed application confirmation (Without this, the consulate won't be able to help you)
Money order from the
USPS Post Office
only, for the amount required by the Brazilian Consulate (found on the Requirement page on their website).
Proof of Residency ( Utility bill or Drivers license, to show them you live within their Jurisdiction).
